Greeley, CO, September 9, 2022 — The works of American composers and the words of American poets are featured in the Greeley Chorale’s presentation of “American Voices”. This performance is Saturday, October 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the UNC Campus Commons Performance Hall.
“America has a rich musical history,” explained Artistic Director Dr. Galen Darrough. “We’re presenting a variety of styles in this concert, from spirituals and folksongs to Irving Berlin and Jerome Kern tunes. There truly is something for everyone in this program.”
This concert kicks off the Chorale’s 58th season, “American Voices, European Echoes”. Future concerts include “Gloria and Holiday Hits” December 17, featuring John Rutter’s Gloria as well as traditional holiday pieces, including performances by individual Chorale members and small ensembles. The season concludes with “Mostly Mozart” on April 15, 2023. This program features Mozart’s Coronation Mass plus much of the music the Chorale is taking on their June 2023 tour of Spain and Portugal.
Tickets are $22 for adults, $10 for students with ID, and $18 each for a group of 10 or more from a single purchaser. Tickets are available at 970-351-4849, through

The Chorale’s popular fundraiser, “Pops & Pasta” is being reformatted to better fit into a COVID world. Details are still being nailed down. Watch the Chorale’s website, greeleychorale.org for the announcement of “Cabaret and Cabernet”
