Established in 2024 The Latino Business Outreach (LBO) program is dedicated to connecting and empowering Latino-owned businesses throughout Greeley and the and surrounding areas. By way of community engagement, networking opportunities, educational workshops and signature events, LBO strengthens connections among Latino business owners and with community partners.

In the early 1900s, Mexican and Spanish-American workers migrated seasonally to northern Colorado for farm labor, returning home each winter. To reduce the costs of this migration, sugar companies, especially the Great Western Sugar Company in Weld County. The company began in the 1920s to encourage workers to stay year-round by building permanent housing colonies for them

The Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce created LBO to support Latino business owners and connect them with a community that values their contributions.

Can my business host an LBO event?
Yes. We are always looking for local businesses interested in hosting Latino Business Outreach (LBO) networking events or Business After Hours. Chamber investment is not required to host.
We are currently seeking additional committee members. Committee members are volunteers who help guide the direction of the program, support events and strengthen connections within the Latino business community.
