We’re pleased to announce Jaime Henning as the new President and Chief Executive Officer of The Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce. Henning will succeed Sarah MacQuiddy, who is entering retirement after serving the Chamber for more than 20 years, the past 15 as president and CEO. Jaime Henning is expected to start in early September.

Henning is a Nebraska native, who served as the senior director for the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and has devoted 18 years in service to the Lincoln community. She has a bachelor’s degree in corporate communications and public relations from Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb. She led efforts to advance Lincoln’s growth, grow Lincoln’s brand and was a founding member and director of Lincoln’s Young Professionals Group, which has over 1,800 members.

“I am honored to be selected to lead the Greeley Area Chamber and help advance the Greeley area’s next phase of growth,” Henning said in the news release. “Upon meeting community leadership, board members and staff, we knew this was a perfect fit. I look forward to ensuring the Greeley area continues to be a region on the move with a pro-business environment and to advocating for the economic vibrancy of the community.”

Henning and her wife Carey are excited to make their home in the Greeley area. Search firm Waverly Partners worked with the Chamber’s Executive Committee, chaired by Bryce Jacobson, publisher of the Greeley Tribune, for the past few months reviewing candidates.

“I’m excited to have someone with Jaime’s vast amount of experience to champion, advocate and promote commerce in the Greeley area,” Jacobson said in the news release. “Her experience, specifically in fundraising, policy and developing young professionals are the skills I’m most excited about.”
