Greeley’s annual Arts Picnic will celebrate 38 years of summertime fun Saturday, July 30, from
9:00am –5:00pm and Sunday, July 31 from 9:00am – 4:00pm.  Considered one of Northern Colorado’s best arts, crafts & music festivals, the Arts Picnic draws more than 20,000 people to Greeley’s historic Lincoln Park each year.

Over 150 artisans from all over the nation will gather in Greeley to sell their hand-made wares ranging from pottery, paintings, and photography to glassware, gourmet food and garden art!  Well known Colorado bands performing everything from rock, blues, and folk to big band, bluegrass, and honky-tonk will entertain on two stages while balloon artists, magicians, and stilt-walkers will stroll through the park throughout the weekend. Pint-size-Picassos and mini-Mozarts will be busy with make-and-take art projects and hands-on musical activities that encourage creativity and excite the imagination in Creation Station. Add a food court with over a dozen booths full of delicious festival fare including BBQ, burritos, crepes and calzones in addition to a beer garden conveniently located close to the Center Stage and you’ve got an event that has been rated one of the top arts, crafts, and music festivals in Northern Colorado.

The Friday Fest season begins on May 6th, and will continue every Friday all summer long! With band genres ranging from blues to country to southern rock to reggae. Free live music on the 9th St. Stage in downtown Greeley from 6 to 9, Greeley’s famous and unique “Go-Cup” service, street performers, fore spinners, facepainting, balloon artistry, sidewalk chalk and more for the kids.
