Undergraduate and Graduate Studies

The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) consists of five colleges plus the Graduate School. Programs are concentrated in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences; the Kenneth W. Monfort College of Business; the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences; the College of Natural and Health Sciences; and the College of Performing and Visual Arts. The university is a state institution governed by its own Board of Trustees, appointed by the Governor.

UNC has been listed among the best educational bargains in the United States for three years in America’s Guide to the best 100 buys. Undergraduate enrollment totals nearly 12,000 in about 100 programs, while more than 2,000 graduate students study in about the same number of masters, specialist, and doctoral programs. The University also offers a number of other programs for their students including work-study programs and career services after graduation.
