Greeley Chamber of Commerce
ACTION PLAN 2011 – 2012
PRESENTED 12-16-10
Finalized 2-14-11

The Greeley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has adopted an Action Plan to take the organization and the community through the year.

In an effort to focus on a positive path and to protect the future development of the Chamber, this Action Plan will serve blueprint for the programs, services and value the Chamber is creating for its members and as a road map for leadership.

Our mission is to provide leadership, to serve and to represent our members. Our vision will be the driving force for success as the community’s business advocate.

The Greeley Chamber is a member-driven and member-dependent organization where businesses come together as a unified voice for the betterment of our community. Membership survey results indicate that we are on track in many areas, but have room for improvement in others. Over the next several years we will work to refine our Action Plan and assure that we are focused on our members and mission.

The Greeley Chamber has experienced membership challenges over the past few years in a business climate of tremendous competition for resources, time and involvement from companies. The mix of Chamber members demands that the Chamber have great flexibility in terms of products and services, with a more disciplined focus that puts member needs first.

As background for the Action Plan, research was conducted with Chamber members and past Board of Director Chairs. The purpose was to explore member expectations, perceptions, attitudes, and preferences, to determine how the Chamber meets the needs of today’s business professionals, and to serve as foundation for this plan. Specific objectives included learning the reasons why members join and if expectations are being met.
